Ulvang +
Ever seen a sheep freeze?

Ulvang started with a simple wool sock in 1995, named after one of Norway’s greatest cross-country skiers. Back then, synthetic fibers and cotton ruled the market.
Today, Ulvang the brand is more famous than Ulvang the skier, and wool is the go-to material for outdoor gear. But as the market gets crowded, standing out becomes harder –and unlike sheep, brands don’t thrive in flocks. To fix this, we created a new story and visual identity for Ulvang, giving it a confident voice that stands out in a woolly category.

The brand draws inspiration from the ultimate outdoor experts: the sheep. With over 6,000 years of experience in the harsh Norwegian climate, they’ve perfected one of the most advanced materials ever—wool. And the best part? They’re happy to share it. From a custom alphabet to a color palette that matches the unique sheep vision, we’ve crafted a meaningfully different presence that positions Ulvang for wherever the weather takes them next.
