TV-aksjonen +
Opening doors
The world’s biggest fundraiser, NRK TV-aksjonen, came to ANTI with an important cause and a challenge for their brand: to help 200.000 people with disabilities living in war and poverty, and at the same time strengthen the TV-aksjonen brand.
TV-aksjonen is a 51 year old cultural institution in Norway, mobilising around 100.000 volunteers each year who go door to door asking for donations. This year The Atlas Alliance was the beneficiary cause, and their work to provide aid, education and the possibility for a better future for people with disabilities.
At the same time, the “competition” among charitable organisations is increasing, pressuring TV-aksjonen’s ability to break through and recruit volunteers. TV-aksjonen had to consider how their own brand was communicated, as campaigns tend to be centred around the cause.
“Sammen åpner vi dører” (together we open doors) works is both an empowering call to action and a description of what TV-aksjonen have been doing for 51 years - organising people to knock on their neighbours doors in solidarity with the world’s most vulnerable.
