UngFunk Case

Funksjonshemning er ikke en individuell egenskap, men et forhold eller en situasjon som kan oppstå i individets møte med samfunnet

Frame 1464

Disability is not an individual trait, but a relationship or situation that arises in the encounter between the individual and society. In many ways, society expects all people – with or without disabilities – to fit into the same system. The truth, however, is that we are all different. Different needs. Different circumstances. Different desires. Different backgrounds. Different limitations. Different life situations. Different identities. There is much we share, yet each of us is unique. And it is this diversity that deserves to be celebrated.

We are all equally different

The concept “Vi er alle like ulike” (“We are all equally different”) was built around inclusion and diversity. From this idea, we designed twelve unique shapes that function as flexible graphic elements within the visual system. These forms allow for endless variations while staying true to one consistent identity. By introducing this element, we created a tool that gives Unge funksjonshemmede stronger ownership of the surfaces and spaces where communication happens.

A broad color palette supports communication of diversity and inclusion. The primary colors, black and white, establish a formal and structured foundation that conveys weight and credibility. The secondary palette introduces strong and varied colors, opening up for an expression marked by warmth, personality, and inclusiveness. The interplay between the restrained and the colorful creates a cohesive identity that feels both professional and diverse.

Illustration is an exciting and valuable tool that adds greater breadth to the visual expression of Unge funksjonshemmede. The illustration style extends naturally from the graphic elements already in use, characterized by black outlines and filled shapes.
