We developed a brand and packaging concept that underlines the clarity of the core idea, and that stays true to the visual and conceptual minimalism of the designs. Utilising a similar approach as the product, giving the packaging the same raw, stripped down feel with natural materials, functional simplicity and boldness.
The outer packaging for the range is made from recycled, kraft cardboard. This material was selected not only for the functionality and the low cost, but also for its tactile qualities and straightforward feel. The varying colours of the products themselves – natural walnut, ebonized black or natural oak – was then printed as a one colour screen print on the box to create a simple system for a growing product range.
The inner packaging is a simple sheet of unbleached, natural cotton – loosely wrapped around the product with no unnecessary sewing, gluing or binding.
