A letter from Norway
It all started with an urge to discover and understand more about our design heritage. To learn more about the creative minds that have set their visual mark on our cultural history - and those that are about to change it.
We at Anti are taking our first steps into the world of magazine publishing with A New Type of Imprint, a magazine aiming to provide insight into the Norwegian creative community. Spearheaded by editor-in-chief Veronica Mike Solheim, the magazine will tell the stories of the creative minds that have left their mark on Norwegian cultural history—and those that are about to change it. Our very first issue will officially launch tonight at Gallery 1857 in Oslo, and will be available in stores across the world as well as in our online store (anewtypeofimprint.com).
«Out of the rural Norwegian cultural traditions, a new breed of urban culture is being born. A fascinating transformation as a result of what happens when merging proud traditions with modern Nordic living and thinking. A New Type of Imprint celebrates this transformation and of course the Norwegian creative community. Our goal is to go beyond and get to know the minds behind this change of scene,» says Solheim. «The magazine will take you on a journey through Norwegian traditions and new trends, from large mountain tops and career milestones to deep fjords and industry challenges. We can’t wait to show you our very first issue!»
