«Melting Pot» is a collaboration between Dusan Reljin and Anti, where images photographed by Dusan for Elle Serbia’s December 2014 issue were manipulated and morphed by Anti to create a dark but inspirational world where fashion meets art.
MANIPULATED & MORPHED. After being asked to exhibit his work for Elle, Dusan reached out to Anti with the desire to add an extra dimension to his images. The series in Elle were inspired by Dusan´s childhood dreams. Using the same inspiration, we morphed and manipulated the models to create a dreamy atmosphere. As Dusan´s images of Marina Abramovic is a huge part of the exhibition, we found inspiration in her idea of using the body as a medium. Movements and shapes from the body melts into a Daliesque surreal environment..
I WANTED TO MAKE A VERY PERSONAL VIEW ON WHAT THESE IMAGES MEAN TO ME. IT IS INSPIRED BY MY CHILDHOOD DREAMS. ANTI WAS THE PERFECT COLLABORATOR SINCE THEY FULLY UNDERSTOOD MY VISION AND ADDED AN ELEMENT THAT WAS BEYOND REACH.
