After years of mutual admiration USA/Norway-based Non-Format and ANTI have now merged to further strengthen their design clout and international reach.
ANTI has always been on the lookout for the best people in design and Non-Format has created a unique position within the industry when it comes to international recognition. They have worked with clients such as Nike, Adobe, Rick Owens, Coca Cola, IBM and The New York Times, to name just a few. “After we worked together on the ‘Mordknull’ book project for Norwegian actor and comedian Odd Magnus Williamson, we quickly realised that we have a similar approach to design, craftsmanship and storytelling,” says Kjetil Wold, creative director of ANTI .
“We’ve always had the ambition to expand our international reach and have considered establishing offices abroad in the past. With Non-Format we’re not only increasing our senior design clout and our international network but we’re also gaining an important international base, as Non-Format co-founder Jon Forss will still be located in the United States. We are really looking forward to seeing how we can rock our clients with these two new members in the band,” says Kenneth Pedersen, CEO of ANTI.
“We’ve long recognised that in order to take Non-Format to the next level we’d need the kind of creative and project management support that can only be found at the very best of the larger design firms. The one place we felt could really offer this level of support is ANTI. They not only have an incredibly solid and diverse body of work but they are always on the lookout for new creative opportunities and have ambitions to be the very best,” says Kjell Ekhorn, co-founder of Non-Format. “We’re looking forward to working with ANTI on many dream projects in the future.”
