In 2017 he made the praised documentary series «Flukt» at NRK, which over five episodes showed the real life and stories of refugees in different countries. For his work with «Flukt», Leo won Fritt Ords Honnørpris.
The series also won «Best Documentary» at Gullruten, and Leo won the award for Best Male Presenter.
