Fredrik Auke, better known as Freddy Kalas, has gained a big audience with his extremely popular party songs. The self-declaimed «King of Party» has a vision of spreading as much happiness as possible through his music, and with more than 142 million streams on Spotify it looks as though he has succeeded.
Freddy's been passionate about music since he was very young, and started writing lyrics and entertaining at the age of 12. When he was 19, his first breakthrough came with the song «Cannabus 2011» released as his alias «Freddy Genius».
He is also the big brother of Simen Auke from the popular DJ-duo Broiler, and they’ve worked together on the singles «Vannski», «Afterski» and «Bonski».
The Freddy Kalas hit songs «Pinne for landet» and «Hey Ho» both made it to the top of the Norwegian charts, and in 2016 he took part in the preselection for Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix in a bid to represent Norway in Eurovision Song Contest with «Feel Da Rush», his first song in English.
His latest smash hit «Jovial» were on the Norwegian charts in 22 coherent weeks, and has been streamed more than 27 million times on Spotify.
