Charlotte Thorstvedt - the Norwegian model, DJ and television host.
Charlotte Thorstvedt is a Norwegian DJ, model and former television host.
Schooled at the renowned Villa Club in Olso, Charlotte T shaped the reputation of the club as its main booker. Drawing her inspirations from different scenes over the electronic music spectre she’s blending waves of minimalism in her own sound statement. Her DJ style is eclectic and playful, blending the old with the new, minimal grooves with forgotten house gems.
Based between Oslo and Berlin, she has one foot in each camp as she continues to be one of the driving forces behind bringing cutting edge electronic bookings to Norwegian audiences. Her passion for music, vinyl, and her particular style behind the decks has taken her to such respected institutions as Dommune in Tokyo, Into the Valley festival in Sweden, Communite festival in Mexico, the Electric Pickle in Miami.
As part owner of La Peña records she now runs the ten year old label together with partner in crime Einzelkind.
Besides music Charlotte has experience as a guest designer. She has created four jewellery collections for the brand AC jewelery, and has been the face of the brand for the past four years. She has also designed her own guest clothing line for the nationwide high street fashion franchise Bik Bok.
In 2013 she was asked by the Norwegian fashion magazine Det Nye to step in as fashion editor. She spent one year at the magazine where her role was styling and art direction fashion editorials.
Tracing back Charlotte’s TV career, she was the first Norwegian to become an MTV VJ at the tender age of 18, and spent 3.5 years at the channel. She hosted shows such as MTV News, Spanking New, Sunday Supreme, and most notably Euro Top 20, which was broadcast all over Europe.
